The Social Copy can include hashtags (indicated by #) and mentions (indicated by @).
1.Hashtags are keywords that your industry is using (e.g. #DigitalTwin, #Automotive, #EdgeComputing…). The pound sign (#) is always right before the word and please avoid using any spaces or punctuation. Hashtags make your conversation searchable to others.
2.Mentions (@) are a way of ‘tagging’ people or Twitter channels (a company, a publisher, etc.) in your posts or comments.
#Hashtags and @Mentions help increase the reach and visibility/engagement value of your posts.

Do a little research in your social media feeds and note what hashtags people use. Add them to expand your reach
When posting, don’t believe that all your followers will see your post – they won’t, social networks use complex algorithms to rate and distribute content. The only guarantee that the customer you want to reach will see your post is to tag them. Use it.
